Glen Cognac, LCSW
PRIMARY THERAPIST
Glen graduated with a bachelorโs degree in psychology from University of South Florida. During his undergraduate studies, Glen focused on neuroscience and researched the effects of drugs on the brain. Glen earned his Master of Social Work degree from Florida Atlantic University. Glen comes to Reprieve with over 10 years of experience providing therapy for clients struggling with mental health and addiction. Glen has worked in numerous settings ranging from prison, drug court, inpatient treatment, and outpatient dual diagnosis treatment centers. Glen believes that if one can get to the root of their addiction, find a purpose in their life and feel positively fulfilled, then the addiction(s) can be beaten. He enjoys helping those who struggle and seeing the positive transformation within their lives.
When he is not working – Glen likes to spend time with his wife, nieces, and nephews. Glen loves to swim or float and he has a passion for football. On Sundays, you can find him in front of large televisions.
